Development 100% electrical earth auger vehicle

Project ELEGRO: Three companies have joined forces to develop a fully electrical earth auger vehicle. Using this method, no environmental pollutants are produced during the drilling process. OP East helped make the project possible by financing 50% of the costs through the EU European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

An electric earth auger vehicle will be built based on two prototypes, after which it will be tested in the field and optimised. The electric earth auger vehicle will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions and also offers a solution for the increasingly strict environmental regulations especially in urban areas. Furthermore, noise pollution on construction sites will decrease considerably using these electrical machines.
